Beginning my journey

Yesterday, I began my journey with my second graduate course, Research. Today I met with my principal to discuss topics that would impact our school. Together we decided that the best topic would be to analyze the effectiveness of our new mentor program. A local church partnered with Big Brother/Sister to establish this program. The principal suggested that I conduct surveys with the parents, students, teachers, and mentors. In addition, to conduct interviews with those involved and search for written materials that examine the effects of mentor programs. In conclusion, the principal asked that I report my findings to the church and to the Big Brother/Sister program. I look forward to completing this week.
